Wooden chess set – folding board for game nights at home or on vacation

Wooden chess set that goes from the coffee table to the vacation house

A handmade chess set with a board that folds shut and holds the pieces. Everything stays together, so it is easy to grab for a quiet game at home or a match with friends.

Why choose this chess set?

It is ready when you are. Open the board, set up the pieces and play.

• Game night: a sturdy board with room to play comfortably.
• Travel friendly: folded shut, it fits in a closet or a bag.
• All in one: the board doubles as a storage box for the pieces.
• Any level: from a first game to long evenings of trying openings.
• Gift idea: a neat present for someone who enjoys chess.

The kind of game that can stay out on the table after the last move.

At 39 x 39 cm the board gives every piece enough space without taking over the table. Wood plays nicer than plastic: the pieces have some weight and the board feels solid. When you are done, the pieces go inside and the case closes.
